Allocate Freight Charges

Hi All,

My question is, how do we allocate freight charges only to the 3 on the first shipment and then on the remaining when shipped?

For instance, if we order 10 x bearings of the same kind / stock number, probably only 3 will be shipped and the other 7 on a later stage.

    Lets take an example :- I have created a purchase order of 10 quantity with charges of 100 and want to do partial invoicing. First for 3 quantities and then another for 7 quantities , so how can I allocate the charges for 3 quantities separately and for 7 quantities.

    Hi S Patel,

    You can record charges at the PO header level and allocate them for example to the PO lines based on the received quantity, etc. I guess you are familiar with this allocation.

    What you are looking for is an allocation that does the allocation based on whether or not a specific process step and from what you write I do not see this covered in the standard application other than recording two separate charges.
