When you add the Subject in New Portal Comment from D365 Customer Service Hub that subject should be displayed into the Timeline of the customer portal.

Unfortunately it is by design. Subject will not be able to show in portal timeline.
If you want to check all the subjects or other fields of portal comment in portal, you could add a subgrid in your entity form in D365 first and then add a Entity Form Metedata in portal entity form with subgird.
