Hello All,

In AX2012 there was an unsupported class that you could execute to delete all data in the database.  I was wondering if a similar class or job existed in D365, or if anyone has a routine or script they followed to do the same.

My goal here is to get a scrubbed copy of our PROD database into a DEV VM for the purpose of development.  We want to take precautions for eliminating risk associated to our customer list, vendors, credit cards, etc when restoring our PROD DB to DEV VMs for development and testing purposes.

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Steve,

    The class SysDatabaseTransDelete is still available in the application and will work. Note that it is not supported and might leave some tables untouched causing inconsistent data. Ensure you will never run it on a production environment.

    You can run the class by changing the URL parameters to: &cmp=USMF&mi=SysClassRunner&cls=SysDatabaseTransDelete.

    Replace USMF with the actual company ID for which you want to delete the transactions.
