I am trying to figure out how I would go about adding a /Follow-Up/ Check box following the completion of an activity. I would like this to be a checkbox that would take place following lets say a phone call and and then taking them to the page to add a new activity. If anyone has a process about going about this please let me know.
That’s an interesting question. Well, to add a /Follow-Up/ checkbox following the completion of an activity, there are two ways to achieve this in Dynamics 365 CRM.
Earlier, you could create a playbook template and add your desired activities as steps to it. And after completing all the activities in a playbook, you would mark the playbook as completed by going to the record you launched the playbook from. But unfortunately, Microsoft has deprecated the playbooks feature in Dynamics 365 CRM. But no worries, now with Inogic’s Business Process Checklist, a Microsoft AppSource preferred app for creating playbooks/checklists, it also consist of activities like phone calls and emails added as actions to perform at each stage of the business process. Additionally, these checklists can be automatically attached to CRM records with activities. Users can view, perform, and mark these activities as complete directly from the record form itself.
