Currently use GP2018, with eRequester

Recently, batches from eRequester stopped posting automatically in GP.  They appear in the 'Series Post' screen but have to be posted from there.

Batches don't have any errors and are not going into batch recovery.

We do use PostMaster - not sure if this plays a part.

Posting setup does show that the batches should post through the GL as well.

(Asked our Partner but he said he doesn't know eRequester.....)

What else can be checked?  Kind of shooting in the dark right now

    Hi Deanne,

    I'm not familiar with eRequester, but I will assume it is populating the transactions. Postmaster is used to post the batches without a user.

    - How does Postmaster know when to post the batch? Does eRequester submit the batch to Postmaster, or is Postmaster looking for a consistent batch name to post?

    - Sometimes the services that run Postmaster need a restart

    - Sometimes the GP user or Windows account that run Postmaster lose their access or need to be reconfigured 

    - Sometimes Postmaster can't finish posting a batch because it gets stuck while posting

    Any of these seem to be the case?

    Please submit a PostMaster support case via the Envisage Software Solutions website and we will review the issue.
    Note that the last version of the software better handles the scenarios listed by Talon
