Hey all,
I am in the process of designing a stress test for our AX 2012 installation as a part of our implementation process. We have identified several key areas (such as MRP and sales order entry) that we would like to test from the user side to make sure their experience is as smooth as possible, but I am having some trouble finding a method or tool to help us simulate a consistent load on the server. My question is then, is there a way to simulate the load that AX puts on the server other than getting a bunch of people all doing dummy transactions while we run our tests? We would love to be able to replicate this testing on a regular basis to evaluate performance as we go.
I should also mention that we have looked at the performance benchmark SDK, but as I understand it this is less of a load simulator and more of a testing tool for specific transactions.
