How to get a lookup field to look at contacts, or users

I've created a lookup field on a form.

The field is called 'Project Manager' and is a lookup to Contacts.

Our users tell me that sometimes, a project manager can be a contact, but sometimes it's an employee of the company, so it could be a user.

The lookup only shows contacts. I'd like to make the lookup show 2 types of records (contacts or users) and give the user the option of either selecting a contact or a user.

There are other lookup fields that seem to be able to do this.Screen-Shot-2020_2D00_08_2D00_20-at-12.43.02-PM.png

Notice the screen shot gives the user the option of selecting from 6 types of records.

I only want 2 types of records, Contact, and Users.

I cannot figure out how to do this.

Any ideas?

    Hello,

You can configure it using JavaScipt and setEntityTypes method of control - docs.microsoft.com/.../setentitytypes

If you are using Customer Service, you could make use of Resources (bookable resources), alternatively you can create your own structure that is similar to the bookable resource structure (new entity with lookups to User and Contact, exta logic to assign the name etc) and lookup that entity (the downside is that you need to configure who is a Project Manager rather than just select from everyone).

Please refer the following Docs and configure by JavaScipt and setEntityTypes method of control

    docs.microsoft.com/.../setentitytypes

I recommend you to raise a support ticket for further investigation if the issue is not resolved.
