Reservations

I have a problem,in the item card under items there is Reservation entries,I have items that have reservations assinged to them, but I don't know how they were assinged or who assinged them, is this a manual function or an auto function?

    NAV also creates reservations automatically if you run mrp and have the items/SKUs set to Reordering Policy = Order or if you create production orders from the sales orders using the sales order planning functionality. This happens even if the Reservation field on the item card is set to Optional.

    It depends of setup, could be automatic and manual. Look at:

    -Item Card (Planning tab) on Reserve field

    -Customer Card (Shipping tab) on Reserve field

    If you have option configured as Always, this is done automatic. Maybe, is is configured as Optional and it is done manual on document.

    You can see in Reservation Entry table from where is reservation made. You can also see who is made reservation on Created By field.
