How to Add fields in the OOB APIs?

Hi all,

Can we add fields in the OOB API page to the business central?

I want to add fields in the Purchase Order API which is already available OOB.

If we can add fields to the OOB API page then please kindly let us know the way for the same.

    What specific page are you talking about?

    One of the pages that is used for integration to Dataverse ?

    Hi,

    You have to write your own custom API page, right now you can not extend Purchase order API.

    Ok, then the easiest way is to take a copy of the standard API page and just add the fields and function that you need.

    Then you do not have to create the customized API page from scratch.
