we have D365 Customer Service but we have customized in considerably and built an Investment Centre within it where we pay out grants to businesses. As part of this we need to capture the euro exchange rate at 2 points in the journey. The date at which they request the grant and the date at which it is paid out. We are currently looking this up manually - which is obviously not ideal.

If I created a separate table in dynamics and run the above on a daily basis to create a new record every day then created a power automate at both trigger points to get the exchange rate on that date, do you think that would work or is there a better/different way of doing this?
