Hello Team,
On Vendor Open Void Transaction screen when I run the Dex Log on server and client I get two different "Where Clause" and because of that on Client machine the results are different.

I would recommend checking your ODBC settings on both machines and ensuring that none of the checkboxes are selected.

The code you have highlighted is a range on any value for Document Number.

Starting with the minimum (cleared) value, which is an empty string.

Ending with the maximum (filled) value, which is the maximum character value 255 padded to the length of the field. Inside Dexterity and on a binary sort order SQL system this is the y with the dots on top (ÿ) character.

On a non binary, DOCI (document order case insensitive) sort order SQL system this character is usually (þ) which is character value 254.
The maximum character for the current SQL system's sort order is identified using the SQL command below:

    exec master.dbo.smDEX_Max_Char

I don't know what your system has identified the (Û’) character.

What is your SQL Server Sort Order/Collation set to?  Is it one for the sort orders actually supported by Microsoft Dynamics GP?

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hello David,
Much appreciated for your reply.  Let me get the sql sort orders and other details asap.

FYI- Customer local client machine does have arabic enabled.  This can be issue. Need to check the regional setting in Server and Client computers too.

    Thanks much
