Hi all,
i want to run year end closing in ax 1st time so, please guide me how i can close my financial year with efficiently.
i shall be thankful for your future consideration

Hi Imran,
There are a number of things you need to do for the Year End closing,
For this purpose these points should be taken into consideration before going ahead with the closing process and also carrying out this process correctly. The information is divided in three parts.
Part 1) Fiscal Year Close Setup, Parameters and Options selected
This will include:
a)The option of Close in the Chart of Accounts
b) The General Ledger Parameters under Fiscal Year Close
c) The account for Year-end Result
Part 2) Pre-requisites of Fiscal Year Closing The following jobs must be done before going ahead with Fiscal Year Close.
a) Monthly closing of all the Modules
b) Yearly closing of all the Modules except General Ledger
c) Inventory Closing Part
3) Fiscal Year Close Process Various steps and processes which are required for completion of Fiscal Year Closing are as follows.
a. Create New Fiscal Year
b. Control transaction in a Closing Period
c. Create closing sheet
d. Transfer Opening Balances
e. Purchase Order year-end process
