Retail Statement Posting Error : "A quantity cannot be picked, Insufficient inventory transactions with status On order, reserved ordered, reserved physical & picked"

I am facing error as below:

Retail Statement Posting Error : "A quantity cannot be picked, Insufficient inventory transactions with status On order, reserved ordered, reserved physical & picked" when I am posting a retail statement.

Issue : I can clear statement only once or at time the clear statement option is disabled (ideally it can be cleared multiple times) & when I clear the statement & recalculate a Sales Order gets generated with status open order(which is ideally generated with status invoiced when respective Statement is successfully posted). Due to this even if there is sufficient on-hand inventory available for those items it throws above error. Please note that these were cash & carry items

It would be really helpful if someone has faced such situation & let me know how it was resolved.

    Hi Pratik,

Can you please confirm your version is R3 RTM. We are facing this issue too, this usually happens when retail statement posting interrupts because of any error for example insufficient inventory or missing dimensions.

So what exactly happens posting date field RETAILSTATEMENTTABLE is updated which causes the Clear button to be disabled (KB2996213).

We are trying to consume BOM on statement posting - this is very simple and straight forward when we invoice the sales order directly. But getting same error 'A quantity cannot be picked, Insufficient inventory transactions with status On order, reserved ordered, reserved physical & picked' when we try to post the Retail Statement.

Hope above would be helpful for you.
