Our business has several divisions who all use Dynamics CRM slightly differently. The problem I'm running into involves one divisions process of updating Leads. The way they do it, is they will export the Leads to Excel, edit a custom field that pertains to the status of the Lead (denoting whether a Lead is Disqualified or not), and then reupload the Leads with the change. This system, though a tad unconventional, worked for them up until last week, when suddenly the custom field they created was no longer being updated when they went to import.
I've checked the field mappings on their import, and it looks correct. I've also looked at the field itself in customizations, and everything checks out there as well. My question then is: has anyone ever had this problem where a record is not actually updated upon import, even though all signs indicate that it should?
