Multiple accounts on Opportunities and Quotes

What is the best way to connect Opportunity and related Quotes to multiple Accounts? We would like to track each of the accounts separately on the Quote with a status (bidding, not bidding, not reviewed, etc). And on the Account page we should should be able to see all related Opportunity and Quotes. Eventually, we need to be able to close a Quote by selecting a winning Account.
Currently we are just adding 10 lookup fields to Opportunity and Quote entities and updating those manually by revising an activated quote> changing the parent account to the winning account> activating it>closing Quote as won. Most of the users don't revise the quote and close it without updating the winning account as the parent account. That is because doing so is very cumbersome and does not provide a great user experience. There should be a better way to accomplish this. Please advise.

Perhaps an interesting thought but maybe something to investigate if this is realistic?

    - build a one-to-many relationship from Quote to Account (same as you would have quote lines)
This would allow you to manage per line what the status is
    - Create a custom Close Quote experience that would allow you to select the Account from the accounts that are linked and set that as the Winning account?

If this would work, creating a powerautomate flow that will be triggered as soon as the quote is created to copy of the "linked accounts" from the opportunity to the quote should not be so complicated

RE: Multiple accounts on Opportunities and Quotes

    Hi partner,

Could you explain in more detail? Or give an example.

Generally, we will connect entities through N:N relationships or connections.

If I understand correctly, the premise that you want to achieve that the premise of closing Quote to win is that its Account is winning, right?

If so, we can create a real-time workflow of Quote to check if its Account is winning, if it's false, give a error message to remind the user to select an account that has already been won.

So please give us more information, and I will help you with steps.
