Time and Attendance Major issues

Hi all, I am having major issues with out time and attendance module and could really use some help.

Background Information
We are a production company and we use Production Orders, all of our workers are set up for Time Registration and will get their schedules in the morning. When logging into a job they first need to Clock-In, then they need to select the Resource they are using, and all of the current "Jobs" under that resource will appear, they then select that Job and start it, once that job is complete they are supposed to end it. FREQUENTLY workers are not "Ending" jobs (Logging out). For example there was one who didn't log out of a job throughout a long weekend, and they logged out after the long weekend and AX tried to allocate 70+ hours into a job that took him 45 minutes.

Problem 1:

I do not know how to view all Workers who are currently Logged into jobs. Is there a report that I can pull that will show me every single worker who is currently logged into a Job? Please note they are not Users in AX, they are Workers, all of which are set up through the Human Resources as workers. Currently I have no way of tracking people who log into jobs until they end the job. There must be a way to view this but I do not know how. If there was a form I could view that showed me all Workers that have started jobs that would make this easier.

Problem 2:

How can I stream-line this process? Ideally, I would like to be able to force everyone out of jobs at 5:00 PM, unless overtime has been approved. Is there a way to force all Workers to end a job at a set time? Because people forgetting to end a job happens pretty much every day, and this will not appear in the Approve form until they actually end the job. For example, there was a person who forgot to log out of a job yesterday, and logged out of it this morning when they realized they forgot. But when I viewed that user in the morning it didn't show that specific job. Then they ended that job and it updated the approve form and tried to allocate 17 hours to that job.

Conclusion

I really need a way to be able to see in real-time when Workers are logged into Jobs, and if they forgot to log out of a job at the end of the day I need to be able to force them out of that job, which would appear as Job Status - Interrupted. An extreme example that actually happened here, is someone forgot to end a job for 5 months, and it attempted to allocate over 2200 hours to a job that took 30 minutes. Which is why I need to be able to view everyone who has "Started" a job in real-time.

Also, once the time has been approved will this update the costing? As mentioned above a job that took 45 mins was clocked at 17 hours, if i use the approval form and Update > Calculate, then Update > Approve, will this update the costing for that job?

Thanks in advanced.

    Hi

Put the the time in a job card or Route card on the production. The user will then put in the time when they are finish with the work.

I have work the way that you are talking about but you will always get problem whit people forgotting to log out.
