Reset Manufacturing date for multiple batches

Hi,

The Manufacturing date wasn't set when these batches were put in through upload. It is going to be very time consuming to reset the manu date for each batch and have the rest of the dates calculate based on the manu date.

Is there a way to do this for more than one at a time?

I see this in the Periodic section -> Batches for Best before, expiry, shelf advice, but not manufacturing date.

You can use the Excel Add-in for Microsoft Dynamics AX and change the data of multiple records in the InventBatch table.

To install:

technet.microsoft.com/.../gg731844.aspx

To use:

technet.microsoft.com/.../hh781099.aspx

After you've installed the Excel Add-in:

Go to the Microsoft Dynamics AX pane in Excel and click "Add Tables" by clicking the arrow and text "Add data".

Use filter, find the InventBatch table and add this to the right collumn.

Add the required Fields from the Fields menu on the left by dragging them in to the table

Click Refresh in the top pane menu

Change the desired values

Click Publish to publich back to AX
