Hi.

When registering a general journal, I get an error: Another user has modified the record for this No. Series Line after you retrieved it from the database. I've assigned an existing serie no. in this section of general journal.

Any help pls.

No. series can be a problem if you have more than one user setting up and posting journals at the same time (it does happen!) . I have managed to fix this by linking the number series to the journal batch via the Posted No Series field and leaving the No Series field blank. NAV will assign the number series only on posting the journal and not when you first set the journal up which is where you are most likely to get the problem of trying to share a number from the number series.

hi

was the general journal customized? could be that the current record is loaded and modified twice in the same transaction. check if there are 2 record variables for the same record used in the code.
