I am needing to take a specific form that has a lot of fields of information that is within Dynamics and I would like to present the form filled in and just request a signature to the person.
But it cant just be a field within Dynamics, it needs to be displayed as the actual form not just a pen input on a dynamics form.
I am wondering if something like the Word Template option would work? I am capable of creating the form, but I am unsure if there is some sort of pen input thing so they can sign it and then be able to return the file into the system as either word or a pdf. I do not need to save the signature in another column, the fact that its signed in the PDF or Word form is sufficient.
Hi, Our team has analyzed the information you have provided, checked the sources and found that Dynamics 365 Word template doesn't seem to have any out-of-the-box features to meet your needs. We found a post in the community with a similar need to yours, which mentions two mentioned options Option 1: You can use Base64 strings to store signatures on forms. In the template, you can add this field using the image control in the XML mapping and convert the Base64 back to an image. Option 2: Use a third party add-on to use your attachment and add it to the document, but you will no longer be using the standard document template.
