Hi folks,
in our tenant we have D365 F&O licenses available. Now it seems to me that every tenant user is able to logon to LCS homepage and to create an LCS project. That seems to be a strange thing independant the fact how far he can go on with environment creation. LCS project creation should be restrictable by e.g. AAD security group membership. In the documentation (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/lifecycle-services/configure-lcs-security) I found no restriction for it. I am aware, the the project membership can be controlled by roles and is done by invitations.
How can we achive this restriction?
Thanks Dirk
Hi Dirk,
As you mentioned - LCS project roles control only role within particular project. But when user creates a new project he/she is automatically Project owner.
As far as I know there's no such control. Any user can create a new LCS project. But won't be able to deploy new environment - for that it is necessary to add Azure subscription.
Apart from project users, there is also an icon on the LCS landing page for organization users. See if that helps.
