How to reset the Work Order Starting Number

I have tried to reset the Work Order Starting Number by Settings > Field Service Setting > Work Order / Booking > update the number of Work Order Starting Number.

However, the following message will show:

Cannot set nextNumber to 0, a higher number, xxx, already exists.

There is some invalid work orders that are already deleted.

Can I reset the starting number from zero?

HI Stephen,

We can set the seed value, please help to see how we can set seed value for automatic number using XrmToolBox.

There is plugin available to get the current seed count and set the value based on your requirement. Thank you.

Which version of FS are you using? Also - are you using the # Auto-Numbering setting in the FS Settings Ribbon?
