Attention Information block in Purchase Orders

Can anyone help me understand how the Attention Information field from the line details/Address tab is supposed to work in AX 2012 Feature Pack? Is it supposed to automatically show up on the generated purchase order confirmation? I cannot get it to show up anywhere. Wondering if I am missing a parameters setting or if it needs to be added to the SSRS report design in order to display.

Any help would be appreciated.

To view the attention information for the purchase order, look on the Address FastTab, in the Attention information field.

If this field is blank, multiple types of attention information have been used for this purchase order

Hi Lynn,

This information field is for internal purposes. Based on the requester, it can find his Office location. Also when you use purchase requisitions, this field is defaulted from the requisition.

On the internal receipt list this field can be included. I have not looked if the field is already there, but it is available in the report data provider for this report.

Hello Andre,

If I understand you correctly the purpose of the field is to determine what location the requester is from when issuing a purchase requisition? For example if Company A has purchasing agents in St. Louis, San Francisco and Baltimore. If the Baltimore agent submits a requisition the Attention Information field would recognize his location and data would display in that field? Or would someone have to physically type in information?

Hi Andre

PR requester have filled the the Attention information in PR how its not appearing in PO form "HeaderAttention_ReqAttention

PurchTable(PurchTable).ReqAttention"

please advise is it something needs to update in AOT or under the policies
