Halo all,

I get this error "Quantity XX cannot be received because inventory transactions with status Registered are insufficient." while invoicing a PO in AX 2009.

The PO has 2 lines. While packing slip, i have registered both the line items and both line item shows the transaction as Received status in inventory transaction form. PO status is now Received. Now when i try to invoice the PO, i receive this error of "Quantity XX cannot be received because inventory transactions with status Registered are insufficient". This error is shown only for the 1st line item.

why is this error when i have already registered and received the inventory?? How to resolve this.

    Hi,

Check if registration requirement is enabled for that item on item model group, you might need to register at the receiving (warehouse)end as well.

Time to debug the code then and see what is causing the message.

Are you matching to the receipt whilst processing the invoice? Is there any quantity difference between the receipt total and invoice total causing the message? Validate the invoice quantity to the receipt on line one, and ensure in the processing of the invoice you are tying it to the product receipt. If you are get a developer to debug the code to see why it thinks it is doing this (but if you received 10 and the invoice is for 10 you should not get this, if the invoice was for 12 AX would try to receipt 2 which is why you would get the registered message from your configuration).
