Notification when a new client is added or acct from inactive to active

HI ,

Please help me with this .

The ask is that the customer service member should get an alert/notification when a new client is added or when an account changes from inactive to active. Would it be beneficial to enhance the views on dashboard or send email or teams notifications.

Please guide through.

Appreciate your help.

    Hi Riddhi2,

There are various methods to configure push notifications in D365.

1.Dynamics 365 allows to send emails via workflows. We use workflows to send email notifications.

Go Settings > Process to create a new workflow.

2.You can also use flow (Power Automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/ ) to send email or power app notifications. We have implemented Microsoft flow for notifying user of record created through Power Apps.

Leah Ju Thank you  so much for your reply. Is it possible to follow the above power automate flow to send notification in Teams instead of email?

    Hi Riddhi2,

Yes, you can send notification in teams with the flow.

To post it to Teams, use the Teams connector and select the Post a message option.

Pick the Team, and then the Channel to send the notification to, and make sure to use ‘dynamic content’ to make your notification as specific as possible.
