Out of 12 companies 4 are returning this error message. I tried clearing the DU000030 table but to no avail. It looks like some HR components are either missing or did not not get upgraded during a previous upgrade.
The following SQL statement produced an error:
exec sp_HumanResources_AttendanceDetail 0
exec sp_HumanResources_AttendanceSummary 0
exec sp_HumanResources_EmployeeBenefit 0
exec sp_HumanResources_EmployeeEducation 0
exec sp_HumanResources_PostDatedPayRates 0
exec sp_HumanResources_PositionControl 0
exec sp_HumanResources_EmplAttendDetail 0
exec sp_HumanResources_Hours 0
exec sp_HumanResources_HRPCombined 0
exec sp_HumanResources_PrimaryPay 0
exec sp_HumanResources_PTOLiability 0
exec sp_HumanResources_PCSeatEmpExp 0
Yes, that is why we only have a handful of clients running payroll. The hassle and liability is oft times way to high.
It appears over the years as companies were added and then HR that GP Utilities was not run so for the one company that used HR all was fine but for all the other companies bits of HR were missing. Using SQL maintenance to recreate the tables and stored procedures did the trick.
dont miss this one bit...we outsourced Payroll 2 years ago because of the problems with canadian payroll and the HR module
