Dynamics 365 CRM : Customizable Case Resolution limitations: Button Rename on Case resolution dialog

Posted on by 420

Hey everyone, if any one can help me know if this is possible :

On Customizable Case resolution dialog

1. Can i rename the buttons on top "Save and Close" and "Save"- i tried getting case resolution entity in ribbon workbench somehow it is not picking

2. Can i rename the text i see as "New Case Resolution" to some Custom name

3.  To use this custom  case resolution dialog feature , i will have to include service management in my custom app ?

If yes? can u guide how to proceed.

If no, is this a known limitation

Any pointers are  much appreciated

    Hi Pallavi,

1.For first question, “rename the buttons on top "Save and Close" and "Save"

    Unfortunately, you can’t do it.

2.For second question, “rename the text i see as "New Case Resolution" to some Custom name

Unfortunately, you also can’t do it.

3.For third question, “To use this custom case resolution dialog feature , i will have to include service management in my custom app

you don't need include service management in your custom app, just set service management in customer service app.

For more information about setting customization case resolution dialog, you can refer following link:
