PLEASE, can someone help out with this issue i'm having each time i run the AX setup file, i recently uninstalled AX client from this same computer and on trying to install again, i get the error message which i have pasted the error log below as follows

Hi Xty,

Check if your setup directory is still valid. Perhaps get new install files.

2013-06-20 15:20:03Z Setup could not find the file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\SetupSupport\AxSetup.exe'.

This is one part of your log. So the AxSetup.exe cannot be opened or found.

hey Andre, thanks but i already tried this but it still keeps giving me the same error. i have already recopied the setup file a number of times but the problem's still there!!!!!!

check the Ax 2012 component will be there in uninstall or change a program option

go to uninstall or change a program option and remove Microsoft Dynamic Ax 2012 Component.

Try to run the setup and select the option components if any components still exists please remove or simply uninstall all the components from control panel.

Then try to delete all the registry entries as well.

Once restarted then proceed the installation.

uninstall the setup support files from program files list and then proceed with installation again.
