We've used Outbound Marketing in the past when sending our customers daily communication. In outbound we created one journery per-month sending Monday - Friday no weekends. When moving to real-time, we used the "quiet time" feature assuming it would work in the same manner. Instead, it sent 3 emails of the same content. If quiet time is just to "pause" an email from going out within the journey, how can we create a journey we set up monthly that only sends on the selected days?
The Quiet Times feature only holds the messages until the indicated quiet time ends. More information about this feature can be found here.
When creating the monthly Journey, you could use the 'Wait time' condition to indicate when people should move to the next step.
To my knowledge there isn't currently an overall setting where you can instruct the system to just never send on a weekend regardless of what is indicated in the individual Journey settings - it could be a good suggestion to submit on the Dynamics ideas page :)
