Yesterday we began receiving MS Visual Basic errors in the Sale Order, Shipper, Purchase Order screens. Here is an example of two errors being received (although there are more):

Run-time error '453'': Can't find DLL entry point SqlCursorEx in swimapi.dll

Run-time error '453': Can't find DLL entry point SVBA_setprop in swimapi.dll

The swimapi.dll file is in the proper place and has not been edited or updated. Has anyone seen this behavior? We are completely at a standstill and cannot complete sales order or purchasing transactions. Our service company is also investigating.

We are using SL 2011 SP3

Hello Dglodowski,

Did you attempt to run a register for the swimapi.dll file?

Register 32 or 64-bit DLLs in Windows

Step 1: First click on Start, then Run.

Step 2: Now all you have to do to register a DLL file is to type in the regsvr32 command, followed by the path of the DLL file.

Step 3: Now click OK and you should get a confirmation message that the DLL has been registered successfully.
