Hi, I'm new to MS Dynamics NAV. Could someone please provide me info on where to start, like, from where I can download a demo of the software & a specific beginner's tutorial guide?

This is the best for start. You can find download section. But the best way is to start work in MS partner company.

Welcome to NAV.

For Start download study material from Partner Source. Go through Basic Tutorials in the manual.

For Additional software's, common questions use mibuso, DUG an Dynamics Community.
