Barcode scanning with extra characters - D365 report

Hi all,

I'm developing a report where I'm getting barcodes in the report design and then scanning them,

The issue is when I select a product whose barcode is in just numeric form, the scan gives perfect result but when I select a product whose barcode contains numbers and characters, then the scan results shows extra characters in the beginning and end of the barcode.

For example, If I scan "100014LARBLK" then the scan result shows "01100014LARBLK--"

Please let me know about this issue and how to resolve this.

Regards,

I have the same question (1)

Most likely it's some setting in your scanner. You can try to generate barcodes with some online tool and scan them and see if this works. This way you can easily determine if your issue has any relation to D365.
