Hi,
My organisation got some help from a Microsoft Gold Partner earlier this year, and basically had Dynamics Customer Insights Journeys set up for us. They set up all of our Compliance Profiles as Preference Centers. We're starting to ramp up our usage, and some of our recipients have forwarded on emails to other people, and those other people have been able to unsubscribe the original person.
Our previous platform had a password-protected area for subscriptions, and regardless of how you got to the subscription page, you had to login before you could change anything. I don't necessarily think we need to sign into change email preferences, but I would like to find a way to remove the originating recipient email from the link, so that emails which have been forwarded are clean of those recipient details, and people can't be unsubscribed by other people they happen to have forwarded the email to.
The only way that I have found to do this, is to create a new form to manage the consents, and then create a new Compliance Profile with an External Link rather than a Preference Center. I've attached screenshots of the Preference Center and the External Link (which is a Dynamics Form).
Is there a way to remove the recipient ID from the preference center link in the email, so it cannot be used when forwarded?
