get away from Document Hash in File Adapter integration?

My understanding is that if RecId and RecVersion are there in the file then document hash is not needed (link ). But this is not working for me with documentHash provided in file it works fine, the moment I take out documentHash request fails with error:

"Field _DocumentHash must be filled in"

an FYI.. I have provided RecId and RecVersion in both the cases.

How can I get away from DocumentHash for just this service through File Adapter.

Also, where can I find the code that checks DocumentHash between DB and the request ?

Thanks in Advance,

San.

    HI Santosh,

Have a look at the inbound ports. You can setup custom data policies. Then you can enable or disable fields and mandatory settings.

this field was never mandatory in my data policy. I have tried enabling and disabling it and so far no luck.

Check that the action attribute value in your xml file is correctly set to "update".

    Example : <SalesLine class="entity" action="update">

Otherwise if the action is set to "create", you should check the inbound port configuration and see if the option "Replace existing documents on create" is well checked

Hi Renaud, I have the action attribute set to "update".  I have no problem in "Create" case, let me know if "update" case is working for you without DocumentHash field.

    Thanks,

    San

You can find the code that checks DocumentHash in AxdBaseUpdate.deserializeTopEntity()
