Hi,
I have a question regarding managing a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (version 6.3.6000.9100) system that utilizes a Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition database. Currently, I perform a weekly maintenance plan that includes rebuilding indexes (for both AX2012 and AX2012_model) and updating statistics (for both AX2012 and AX2012_model), as well as daily backups. Are there any other ways to improve application performance as I feel I am not utilizing the full potential of the database?
Thank you in advance,Janos

Best Practices: Performance Optimizations
I appreciate your response. In that case, I was wondering if there are any specific best practices that should be followed in the context of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, such as optimizing backups or performing a cyclic rebuild index. I noticed that Denis Trunin has written many helpful things about this subject on github.com/.../AX Technical Audit.md. Has anyone had a chance to use it and could share their thoughts on the matter?
