Not able to add a button control in Hierarchical grid common using js file

Hi all,

I am trying to add a new button control on Hierarchical grid common control. The grid is being used under projects to load the workbreakdown structure. the control refer to a .js file.

if I comment any button on the file it works fine. but if I add a new button it does not reflect.

any suggestions on what I am missing here. This is my first encounter with dynamics 365.

any help would be appreciated.!
