We want to do migration from R2 dynamics AX to R3 dynamics AX. But Microsoft removed AX product in 2017. So I have some questions.
1] Can we still download R3 setup (legally)?
2] If we can, then can we use R2 license in R3?
3] Do we still get product license for dynamics R3?
4] CAL and Server (AOS) license are different from product license?

Dynamics AX2012 R3 is still alive and supported. It's supported until 2021 (mainstream support) / 2023 (extended support)

2) Yes, the license is for AX2012, not any specific update for AX2012
3) Microsoft doesn't sell new licenses anymore, but perhaps old customers can buy additional licenses. I suggest you ask from your licensing vendor
4) CAL and Server licenses are licenses for AX2012 product. So they are product licenses. I'm not sure if that's what you asked.
You forgot to say that, but I believe that you're talking about Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and you selected "Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0" version by mistake. Is it so?
