What happens to a cancelled Event Registration

I've created a Customer Journey in which I only want to send a 1-day before the event reminder to Event Registrations, so not to the Cancellations. However, if I create the journey like this, it still sends out event reminders to the Cancellations.

How are Event Cancellations recorded? If I read it in the Microsoft documentation, it states that the Event Registration record becomes inactive. However, if I look into the view 'Inactive Event Registrations' there are no records there.

And the other question, how do I create a Customer Journey that only sends out emails to actual Registered Contacts, WITHOUT using the if/then statement 'registrations has been cancelled' and using the negative path.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

If you set the status of an Event Registration record as inactive, it is then considered to be a cancelled registration.

And you can create a dynamic segment with a behavior block, which is also mentioned in the documentation you provided.

    The segment is something like:

According to your request, it is definitely that the if/then tile must be used. The customer journey should be designed as the following:

    1. The event should be added into the first email as an element:

    1. A “Wait until” tile should be added for delaying the sending of the second email to the day before the event.

    1. Add an if/then tile after it and set the condition as the event you just added has been registered and the registration has not been canceled. If yes, send the second email. If no, nothing will be done.

Thanks Nya. However, I still think this really sucks ;)
