Help performance monitoring a pool of AOS using a load balancer

Hi there. I wish to run the counters as described in the table on page 217 of the server and database administrators guide. The problem is we have a pool of application object servers with a load balancer. Is there a way to work around this to gather these metrics?

Thanks

    Hi MicrosoftGuy334,

Please check the version you tagged. You selected the current version which is AX7. I think your question is related to AX2012, right?

Even when you have a load balancer, each AOS server has its own telemetry unless you installed multiple AOS services on the same machine which is not recommended as they then have to share the machine resources.

Thanks I've corrected that. So you're saying that it shouldn't be an issue despite there being multiple servers?

You can indeed set counters per AOS machine. Note that the link you used is a link to a document for AX2009.

Yes. So for example if we had 4 AOS. If I was to set up one of these monitors on (for example) server A, would it give me the information for just server A or would it provide the combined metrics for A, B, C and D?

The measurements are per AOS, so you.need to configure it on all machines.
