Error when promoting a contractor - "Stack trace: The company does not exist"

Hi all,

I am facing an issue when trying to promote a contractor in the system. I am trying to move the contractor from his initial position to a new position using the task "change position" but  when I complete the action, I get the following error "Stack trace: The company does not exist". Did anyone ever faced this error and know how to solve it?

    Please try to debug the code. Does the system have customization?
