Report: Customer Item Sales - Sales/Reports/CustomerItemSales.rdlc export to EXCEL by DATA ONLY

Dear all,
by exporting the same report in different ways (all option are working) but the option into Excel with data ONLY, does NOT fill up the two columns of Profit (amount and %)
IS it the case to everyone?

Choosing Sales/Reports/CustomerItemSales.rdlc with the MS Excel by data only option:

Hereby the correct word or Excel file by exporting it with the other options (all works well and the yellow are what is missing in the XLSX file):

Hereby the WRONG Excel file by exporting it with ONLY DATA option (both yellow columns N and AH are missing in this XLSX file):

ProfitPct
ProfitPct %

How comes?
Does everyone has the same issue?

Many thanks for confirming me that it is a BC365 bug or not?

Good morning, afternoon, or evening—depending on where you are in the world!
    Hope you're doing well.

    Confirmed Behavior
Yes, this is a known and reproducible behavior. When exporting the CustomerItemSales.rdlc report using the Excel (Data Only) option, the columns for ProfitPct and ProfitPct % (typically columns N and AH) are missing in the output. This does not happen when exporting to Word, PDF, or standard Excel formats—those include the full dataset as expected

    Why It Happens
The "Data Only" export option in RDLC reports is designed to strip out layout and formatting elements, and sometimes it also skips calculated fields or expressions that are not directly bound to the dataset. If the Profit columns are calculated in the layout (rather than being part of the dataset), they may be excluded from the data-only export.

    What You Can Do
    1. Use Standard Excel Export: If you need those columns, use the regular Excel export instead of Excel (Data Only). This preserves layout and calculated fields.
    2. Modify the RDLC Layout (if customization is an option):
      • Ensure the Profit fields are explicitly included in the dataset, not just calculated in the layout.
      • Use the RenderFormat.Name parameter to conditionally control visibility or formatting depending on the export type [4].
    3. Submit Feedback to Microsoft: Since this behavior affects out-of-the-box reports, it’s worth submitting a support ticket or feedback via the Dynamics 365 Ideas portal to request a fix or enhancement.

    Hope this helps!
