Why my Visual Studio 2010 not detected by AX2012 R2 Prerequisite

Hi, ...

this is my first time working on AX2012 R2

I have install AX2012 R2 and Visual Studio 2010 on my server

but when i install the Visual Studio Tool on AX12 Component, the Prerequisites still need Visual Studio ??

why this is happen? ... Visual Studio 2010 not support with AX2012 R2?? ...

    Ok BenJ,

    i passed the Prerequisites,...

    btw,... VS Team Explorer 2010 environment, its a little diffrent with the Other VS? ...

    As per me, potential issue, if you have installed all the realted component then would be..

    Your default AX Client configuration is not proper.

    Try running VS 2010 using comand line option along with AX config file.

    Please verify.

    in case you use SQL 2012, you could also install the visual studio of that edition, works fine I do this for more than 1 year now

    You could also try to use Microsoft Visual Studio Team Explorer 2010 (free), depending on what you are planning to archieve with VS. But I think you may pass the Prerequisites with it.

    Only the following versions are supported, try get a hand on one of them:

    Visual Studio 2010:

    - Professional Edition,

    - Premium Edition,

    - Ultimate Edition, or

    - Team Edition,

    (with Service Pack 1)
