Rollup fields not refreshing after 12 hours

Hi all, 

I have rollup field that is not refreshing automatically after 12 hours. It will only update when I click on the recalculate button. I've checked the system jobs there but no luck. 

Anyone have any ideas or had the same issue?

    1. After the creation of the column, it will take 12 hours to refresh
    2. but after 12 hours of the job run, the rollup column starts refreshing in 2 hours.

    so in your case, this is not happening? Am I right?

    Exactly. The field was created a while ago.

    System Jobs: (Nothing in the details sections)

    Note: The below screenshot shows the correct value because it was manually recalculated for testing purposes:

    HOWEVER, the field shows last updated yesterday at 11:30am, almost 24 hours (which shouldn't be the case)

    3: The rollup field is on the Opportunity entity.

    For the third point, I am asking Opportunity Product record detail for which you are expecting a rollup refresh.

    Modify rollup job recurrence

    As a system administrator, you can modify the rollup job recurrence pattern, postpone, pause, or resume the rollup job. However, you can’t cancel or delete a rollup job.

    To pause, postpone, resume, or modify the recurrence pattern, you must view the system jobs. More information View Rollup jobs

    On the navbar, choose Actions and select the action you want.

    For the Mass Calculate Rollup Field job, the available selections are: Resume, Postpone, and Pause.

    For the Calculate Rollup Field job, the available selections are: Modify Recurrence, Resume, Postpone, and Pause.

    Hi there. Thank you for this.

    However, this still does not solve our issue. The recurrence is set to every 1 hour. We can Resume the rollup field job, but this will only be a one-time thing - in the sense that we cannot resume each time this happens.

    Is there anywhere else we can find out why this is happening or how we can fix it so that we don't have to resume each time?

    Hi,

    Please check that Async service is working fine and not stopped.

    Also, you can use a plugin to force the calculation when its related entity field value changed: pradipwebmaster.wordpress.com/.../

    Hi there. Thanks for this.

    The strangest thing is that the "Last updated On" field is showing the recent update (set to every hour) but the value is staying 0.

    The system job is running too in the backend showing the latest dates.
