Hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction here.
I'm working on changing over from SQL Authentication to Windows Authentication in our Dynamics SL 2018 environment.
I started by going into user maintenance, and adding the Windows user name to all of our users. Then, I went into Database maintenance, set the authentication mode to Windows, and did a synchronize security.
After that, our SYSADMIN account was able to login using windows, but the general user accounts are still being prompted for credentials when they launch the client.
To further try to resolve this, I went into SQL and added our Windows SL Users group to the MSDynamicsSL database role for the system and application database. Unfortunately, no change.
I then removed the SL Group mapping, and added the SL Group mapping as a SQL Security login with rights to the SYS and APP database, still no luck.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be the issue?
