Hi Folks,

I have extended an standard data entity and added some vistual fields and linked a new data source for a specific field in FO.

Now when this is deployed to UAT, the data is not coming in the Json called by Odata. The data is coming in dev environment if I do the export of this data entity but this field value is not coming in export as well as Odata call.

Could you please let me know what the issue can be.

Hi,

It seems your extended data entity with virtual fields and a new data source isn’t reflecting in UAT’s JSON via OData or export. Since it works in DEV but not UAT, ensure the entity list is refreshed in UAT (Data Management > Framework Parameters > Entity Settings > Refresh Entity List). Also, verify the new fields are marked as "IsPublic" and properly mapped in the entity.

If the data source link or virtual field logic relies on postLoad(), check if it’s executing correctly in UAT.

I would first check the target mapping and if I saw nothing wrong there, I would debug the code.
