Hey!

I am looking for a way to add an document to an assembly order (in this case, like quality check form stuff that has to be done while assemblying).
Best case if we could add an document on the backside of the assembly order printout.

Best wishes

You can edit posts, by clicking "Actions" underneath your post.

    1. trying to link the document in the original Item Entry to the Link - Column as well the Zetadoc - Column, and calling it up when entering the Assembly Order – didn’t work.

    2. trying to add a picture of the checklist document to the original Item Entry and call it up when entering the Assembly Order – didn’t work.

    2. trying to customize the assembly order print layout – didn’t work.

    3. Pretty much clicking & trying everything in NAV – didn’t work..

When inserting an Item to an Assembly Order, an Item Link will not passed from the Item to the Assembly Order automatically.
To achieve your requirement, you must develop a solution using C/AL-Code.

it is at least the same quality check document for every order of the specific item.

I attached the document to the Links Column of the Item Entry, however when opening a Assembly Order for the Item, the Link Column of the Assembly Order is empty.

If it is the same quality check document for every order, you can just use the Links to attach the document. To add it to the report/print would be customization.

    Hi,

To achieve this you must develop a solution.

This is not possible out of the box.
