Hi,
How do we restrict any user to stop creating or adding a new schedule board tab? I tried to update security role to provide "read" access to schedule board setting table and also remove user from Field security profile "field service - resource" but still user has access to add a new schedule board tab. Thanks.

If you want to restrict users to stop creating or adding new schedule boards. You should disable the "write " for user.
I did remove the write permission, but still able to create a new tab in the schedule board.

You must disable write permission in metadata configuration booking.
