Can the Phone format requirement be removed for consent record?

Hi,

We are experiencing blocked text messages due to missing text consent records. When I try to create text consent, it requires the phone number to have the country code as a prefix (e.g., +country code). Given that we have ongoing communication with leads/contacts, it would be quite difficult to maintain this format in all records.

What is the best approach to address this?

    I'd implement a process to automatically add the country code to phone numbers when they are entered or updated in your system. This can be done through a script or workflow that checks the phone number format and appends the country code if missing.
