Regression testing scope for D365 FO updates

I'm trying to find out how to assess the scope of regression testing for D365 F&O when I want to install a system update.

I would like to apply risk based approach so I am going through a list of delivered features announced by Microsoft.

For example for version 10.0.19, there are only two new features which means that the impact and risk is very low and testing scope will not be very big. However, when I look at the list of delivered bug fixes, there are over 600 fixes touching a lot of functional areas (maybe even all areas)

In such case, do you plan to test the whole functionality of your D365 FO?

What is a common practice in your projects?

RSAT can be the suitable solution along with testing out measure reports and critical business processes.
