How to connect CRM on-premise from Plugin Registration Tool?

Hi,

I am using MS Dynamics 365 version 1612 (8.2.2) on-premises, just started learning to create a Customized work flow activity and downloaded Plugin Registration Tool to connect CRM server,

Can anybody help me how to make the connection? such as how to enter these field on Log in page? I can open my CRM project from sandbox such as: https://mycrmapp.com without needing user id and password because it is my company's entranet.

should I use https://mycrmapp.com on Server field or mycrmapp.com? where can I find the Port number of crm project? Do I still need userid and password? or click the Sign in as current user option?

Hi..

You should use mycrmapp.com. If your site is using SSL or https, then check use SSL. Also if you are using CRM site with some other port than default port then need to provide port number also.

Also for authentication source, mostly Active directory, but if your website is using ADFS then try using IFD.
