Import of Data Through Rapid start

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I am trying to import Data from Excel (About 150K Rows), through Rapidstart. However, it imports only 23000 odd rows only. Wanted to know if there are any specific limit in the tables?

There is no limit in the rows, but it will take more time, instead you can use XML port tool to upload more records with less pain than Rapidstart.

    Hi Shubhojit,

I have imported 40K rows before, but it was a real pain. It depends on the number of validations on related tables system has to check, and for me it crashed a few times.

For that many rows I would recommend creating XMLPort.
